| Bio: | I am Bunny. You may well ask how such a name or personna came about, but I choose not to tell you. If you wish, you can believe as I have told many others, that it stems from childish, inane name calling as a child due to my Christian name of Benjamin and a surprisingly high percentile range of geordie children with a Beatrix Potter fettish. The truth, as ever, is far more sinister. ![]() “Remorselessly, screamingly naff... he is a difficult man to hate but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try.” Simple times. I tend to add people, especially writers, and the only exceptions being if you sound like the proponent for the tragedies of Strange Fruit. Even then I like a good squabble, so why the hell not. Say hello first though, just in case you're some stalker hunting me for my lusciously manicured organs, best served in a light madeira jus. I come here to let off steam. The flesh of this is esoteric combinations of dreams and real events, I've finished a degree in drama and performance, been involved in two professional shows at the Fringe and I'm writing a solo effort but long term studying for journalism of any sort, most probably music as I have begun writing for God Is In The TV and that will no doubt be a catalyst for my motivations, so with increasing frequency, you'll eventually see more reviews and samples on here. I do the odd lengthy list and review, post YSIs, that sort of jazz, and I love music conversation so drop by whenever you like if you want to talk about them, don't worry about when they're posted. But mostly words, words of an irreverent and irrelevant nature. Unless I can ever work out how to get into the back of this bloody camera. Damn you Phillips screwdrivers. Damn you to hell. Here’s some of the things readers would have probably said about this journal, were they not literacy deprived baboons with inordinately dull, but in the interests of fairness, active social lives. “Under the right circumstances, I would read your journal again. For example to evade terrorist gunfire in foreign climes, in a poorly lit simmering internet cafe with battered, cumudegeonly keyboards, dust fettered terminals being the lonely surviving articles. Possibly in a time of confusion due to the loss of a family pet” David Starkey. He’ll pretty much comment on anything now. Power, if one can moniker Channel 4 prime time such an animal, has gone to his head like champagne bubbles. “Unputdownable. This sandwich I mean. That’ll be it’s lustrous body of peanut butter. Your blog in stark contrast is unmitigated monkey feces. You’ve ruined this hour for me. It was a good hour too, one of my favourites. I hope you’re happy now. No, actually, unsurprisingly I don’t hope that at all. I hope your end is untimely, unnecessary and brutal like the birth of Margaret Thatcher.” Kevin Pietersen, MBE and WMD, filling in the void of time left by England’s batting in the recent Ashes series to take time out for a hearty sandwich. “Pure filth. Makes Heseltine’s illicit London loveshack with his walls of pain look like a Mary Poppin’s spooning fest with jam. Loveshack is a brilliant song, isn’t it. I hope to hear it more often.” Wardytron or his ilk. Not sure what he’s going on about there, but I wouldn’t change him. I hate queues. “I’m still waiting on that Big Mac, pipsqueak. Get back to your post” McBoss Except you, loyal reader, who is no doubt charming, elegant, discerning and of impeccable taste. I mean look where you are. Some afficiandos have described this journal as the Battersea Of LJ. Whilst I've no idea what that means, I'm left to assume logically it's highly complimentary. ![]() On each of these websites, you can click a button to support the cause -- each click creates funding, and costs you nowt. I know it's tokenistic, but I'm not saying don't do anything else, that would make me a scamp, wouldn't it. Clearly I'm not a scamp, cherubs, so bookmark, and if you can click once a day. Can't hurt can it. Unless you've got the RSI. Many thanks ![]() ![]() Click here to post this on your page or 'blog | |||||
